How is HDP protection made?
HDP protection is an evolution of the HDT sleeve to which practical tear-off handles are sewn. These allow the corner protection to be inserted without having to thread it along the entire length of the sling. It is suitable for protecting flat and round slings from the risk of cutting and tearing on the edges and corners of the load.
Different sizes of HDP sleeve are available to best adapt to the type of sling you intend to cover. However, since the HDT sleeve is not fixed to the sling, but slides on it, it may expose some parts to the risk of cutting.
■ They comply with the EN1492-2 standard (“Reinforcements and protection against damage caused by edges and/or abrasion”).
