New challenges:
The challenges that lifting slings have to face are increasingly demanding.
More and more users require lifting loads at extremely high temperatures and having reliable products, capable of working in highly dangerous conditions (welding splashes and grinding).
The selection of latest generation synthetic fibers and the continuous research into how to combine them has led to the development of a new range of products with extraordinary performance:
■ They maintain the capacity up to 200°C.
■ Flexible, light, easy to handle.
■ They improve work safety.
■ They create safer lifting conditions.
Characteristics of para-aramid fiber
Para-aramid fiber is a high-performance fiber, which combines high tenacity with very low elongation. It decomposes in hot air at very high temperatures (over 450°C).
■ Tenacity 15 times higher than steel.
■ Minimum elongation (0.5% of WLL; 7% of breaking load).
■ Does not suffer from fatigue stress (bending and torsion).
■ Good resistance to chemical agents and UV rays.
“Turnkey” solutions
Begni Group produces aramid fiber slings following the requirements of the EN1492-1,2 standards, selecting the best materials (tapes, sheaths, sewing threads) 100% in para-aramid fiber.
The stitching is scrupulously carried out by qualified personnel, to offer the same guarantee of safety even after many lifts.
Begni Group provides “turnkey” solutions by developing projects based on specific customer needs.
D/d ratio 1:1
Thanks to the extremely small diameter, it is possible to use standard-sized shackles instead of larger ones. Furthermore, it is possible to apply the sling directly on the shackle pin.
Specific protections for contact points
Possibility to apply specific protections to improve safety during lifting and increase the life of the slings themselves. Thanks to the practical tear-off opening, they can be easily applied to the points most exposed to wear and fatigue (proximity of hooks, shackles, lifting points in general).
Tech For Safety
Possibility to apply the NFC-RFID microchip (Tech for Safety): documentation at hand, traceability, pre-use control, quarterly inspections.
Proof Test
Possibility to test the load of the slings on our Test Bench.
