Corner protectors are an essential product for the correct lashing of the load. They are made of robust materials and are resistant to chemical, acid and basic agents.
■ They protect the edges of the load and the lashing straps in contact with it.
■ They distribute the tension of the strap evenly along its length.
■ They distribute the pressure of the strap evenly over a large surface, without crushing the load.
K factor > 1.5
The effectiveness of the corner protector in distributing the tension is defined as the “K factor”.
According to the requirements of the EN 12195-1 standard and VDI 2700, the value must be K >1.5.

■ The most robust edge protection ever, 20 mm thick.

■ Made of robust polyethylene, resistant to chemicals and environmental conditions.
■ Protects the edges of the load and the lashing strap in contact with it.
■ Suitable for all lashing straps from 50 – 75 mm.
■ Available up to 6 m in length.
■ Suitable for heavy loads (such as steel products): protects the edges of the load and the lashing straps against the risk of cutting.
■ Suitable for loads at risk of deformation (such as pallets of bottles or plastic drums): the tension of the straps is optimally distributed over a large surface area, thus avoiding exerting too much force on the load which could be damaged or burst (as in the case of bottles).
■ Dimension = 190×190 mm.
■ Thickness = 20mm.

KSA
