POLIPROPYLENE DUNNAGE AIR BAGS LEVEL 1

Woven Polypropylene Dunnage Bags secure the cargo from slipping and falling down or over. Placed in the gaps or voids between cargos or container walls and filled up with air, the bags allow no space for the cargo to move at all. They are shock absorbing to the forces encountered during the transportation. They provide optimal load securing in shipping by train, ship or truck.

They are available in the widths 60, 90, 120, 150 cm.

Construction

The basic construction of any dunnage air bag is the combination of two major parts:

• the IN-LINER (extruded polyethylene) which holds the compressed air.
• the OUT LINER (PP woven polypropylene material) which gives the shape, the stability and the enormous strength to the dunnage air bag. The strength depends on the material thickness (level).

Association of American Railroads (AAR)

AAR approval confirms the high quality of the product. All BEGNI Group COBRA® dunnage airbags are AAR verified.

Fast filling valve (Venturi)

Fast filling valves, compared to the traditional valves, manage a huge amount of air: airbags are filled up much faster, no compressed air is not wasted. (Compared to the standard valves, dunnage airbags are filled fast- er than 30 – 40%). They also provide repetitive use of the airbag thanks to the ease of deflation.

Filling Pressure

According to the European standard, the safety factor is 3. (Nominal burst pressure / Filling pressure).

Average working pressure will not exceed 0,05 bar.
