“High performance” round slings are defined as such because they are made with a special polyethylene fiber (HMPE) precisely defined as “high performance” due to its formidable properties.
The load-bearing part (core) is made of HMPE fiber. The outer sleeve (cover) is made of polyester.

Come prescritto dalla norma EN-1492-1:2000+A1:2008 (C.3.6 e D.3.7), le brache devono essere protette dagli spigoli vivi e dal rischio di frizione ed brasione derivanti, sia dal contatto con il carico, sia dal contatto con i dispositivi di sollevamento (grilli, golfari, anelli di sollevamento ed in generale i ganci della gru). Se la protezione contro i danni da taglio e / o abrasione viene fornita come parte della braca, questa deve essere posizionata correttamente.
